Technomax, a leading manufacturer of wall and cabinet safes, as well as gun cabinets, was founded in 1987. Technomax also has a French branch, AGCI, in St. Herblain near Nantes, which aims to meet the requirements of the French market. Technomax occupies 18.000m2, of which 9.000m2 are given over to production, administration and trade offices. Technomax is a progressive company, able to react quickly to the trends and requirements of the ever changing market place. We have been able to continuously expand and develop new product ranges. Technomax is a well known brand in both the home and foreign markets where it has a name synonymous with quality and value, and excellent service to its many customers. Thanks to the timely product adjustments to the market changes and to the changed customers needs, Technomax has quickly developed and has diversified its manufacturing range and its sales strategies in each activity field.
Design and production
The design and technology Technomax avails of for the manufacturing of its products have always been the most up to date thanks to our highly technological and manufacturing know-how. Our products are the result of twenty years of experience, resulting in reliable manufacturing processes which comply with quite strict standards. We have very modern and up to date manufacturing techniques where we utilise laser technology and robots. Finally the three-step tests which are performed on the mechanical and electronic components of the finished product grant “Quality Control” for the whole process.
Research and development
Technomax pays particular attention to the quality of materials and components it chooses. In recent years we have developed a Research and Development Division for innovating technologies and products, and have created a research laboratory which tests the component reliability and quality. Technomax has developed processes in:

Technomax presents the Minibar Technofrost line, for the hotel sector. This brand new minibar range works by absorption and is therefore silent and efficient, and is characterised by excellent quality and advanced technology, which guarantees optimum reliability.
Various models are proposed, in order to meet all the demands of the hotel industry:

A modern model, a simple installation, a easy cleaning. All production of minibar is subject to strict quality controls and each unit is verified individually.
Absorption system
The refrigeration system does not have any moving mechanical parts, and it is therefore totally silent.
Refrigeration occurs trough a heat source, created by electrical resistance, wich allows the evaporation of
ammonia inside the condenser.
Through heat transfer the ammonia returns to a liquid state and enters the condenser unit inside the minibar.
During the final part of the process the ammonia evaporates, so absorbing heat and producing cold. Our
minibars contain neither CFC’s or flourinated hydrocarbons.
